College Men: No. 1 Wake Forest makes it 22 straight ACC wins

No. 1 Wake Forest improved to 8-0-0 with a 3-0 win at Clemson, its 22nd straight win over ACC opposition and its first win at the Tigers' Historic Riggs Field since 2009.

The Demon Deacons' last ACC defeat came on their last trip to Clemson two years ago, but they quickly took charge on Friday night with two goals in the first 39 minutes from sophomore Justin McMaster and freshman Kyle Holcomb. Another freshman from California, LA Galaxy academy product Aristotle Zarris, finished off the scoring in the 76th minute.

Sophomore Machop Chol had a big game in his first start, assisting on the first and third goals.

"I'm extremely proud of Machop Chol for making his first-career start tonight and having such a big impact on the game," said Wake head coach Bobby Muuss. "We have high expectations for Machop and he's lived up to them this year."
