In his best match of the season for Borussia Dortmund, Christian Pulisic willed short-handed BVB to a 1-1 draw at Hoffenheim with the tying goal in the 84th minute.
Pulisic got
open in the front of goal to put away Marco Reus' cross for his second goal of the week. He scored the winning goal in Dortmund's 1-0 win over Club Brugge on Tuesday when he celebrated his 20th
birthday.
The American consistently went at defenders in the second half. He set up Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa for a chance that just went wide.
Dortmund played
the last 15 minutes with 10 men after a red card to young Frenchman Abdou Diallo.
It sits in a tie for third place with eight points after four games in the Bundesliga.
Great team play on that attack. The tackle was very late. Pulisic has his marker badly beaten.
