The 20-year old had also missed the second and third games of the season with a muscle injury.

He has played appeared in four Bundesliga games (three wins and a tie) and one Champions League game this season. He came on as a 68th minute sub and scored BVB's winner in a 1-0 victory of Club Brugge. In the Bundesliga, he has one goal, a late strike that salvaged a 1-1 tie for 10-man BVB against Hoffenheim. He was BVB's second highest rated player by kicker.de in a 7-0 win over Nuremberg.
