UNC outshot the Hurricanes, 36-2, but Miami keeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce made 17 saves -- a new school record.

-- Penn State won its 19th Big Ten title -- and 15th outright -- when it beat Minnesota, 2-0, on a pair of goals by sophomore Kerry Abello. The Nittany Lions are 9-2-0 in the Big Ten, ahead of Rutgers (7-1-3), Wisconsin (6-2-3) and Ohio State (6-2-3).
