Watch: Helicopter Parent of the Year Award goes to soccer dad in Wales

Phil Hatfield  pushed his 6-year-old goalkeeper son in front of the ball to make a save during a U-8 game in Aberystwyth. It only half worked, because a Llanilar player scored on the rebound in the game with Bow Street that ended 2-2.

    And why is a parent behind the goal in first place.
    any ref would have told parents to stay on the sideline.
    but it’s kind of funny watching the video.

    Is Dad the team coach too? 

    Never underestimate the ability of an adult to suck all the fun out of playing soccer.
