USMNT: Weston McKennie leaves camp with injured left hamstring tendon

The U.S. roster for its game against Italy Tuesday in Genk is down to 23 players after the departure of midfielders Weston McKennie, Kenny Saief and Luca de la Torre.

McKennie, who started in the 3-0 loss to England, injured his left hamstring tendon and returned to Schalke 04. Saief, who was not going to dress on Tuesday, returned to Anderlecht. De la Torre, who was not expected to play in the two games, remained in London to resume training with Fulham.
