Quakes introduce $250 season pass for San Jose fans who want to stand

MLS's San Jose Earthquakes are introducing a low-price season ticket for fans who want to stand.

For only $250, fans can purchase a Terrace Pass that covers 20 games:

-- Sixteen MLS games at Avaya Stadium;
-- Three bonus games at Avaya Stadium; and
-- Annual California Clasico at Stanford Stadium.

Fans can watch from the TCL 4K Bar or Supporters' Terrace at Avaya Stadium. They'll be in the north or south supporters' section for the match against the LA Galaxy at Stanford Stadium.
Like regular season-ticket holders, Terrace Pass holders will get discounts on merchandise and parking and other benefits like inclusion to presales and invitations to select season-pass holder events. The passes will be completely digital, though, so they are not printable, transferable or available for resale.

"We feel this innovative ticket offering allows all fans to be a part of the 2019 season," Earthquakes chief operating officer Jared Shawlee, "while also rewarding fans who plan to personally attend every match."
