1. Alex Morgan was voted the 2018 U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year while national team defender Tierna Davidson earned Young Female Player
of the Year honors.
Morgan, the U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year in 2012, finished 2018 with 18 goals in 19 games, the second most goals she has scored in a season.
Davidson, a junior at Stanford University, played for the U.S. U-20s earlier in the year but graduated to the senior team for which she started 12 games before being sidelined with an ankle injury in
