“I'm sorry about the defeat and especially to have left my brothers! But I am proud of the color of my skin. Of being French, Senegalese, Neapolitan: a man.”

-- Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly, who was ejected from the Serie A match at Inter Milan and issued a two-game suspension after receiving a second yellow card for sarcastically applauding the referee Paolo Mazzoleni when he was originally booked late in the 1-0 loss. The French-born Senegalese international was subjected to racist monkey chants from Inter fans. Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti said officials refused his request to suspend the game because of the chants and the mild-mannered Koulibay's applause was a reaction to them. The Italian federation has ordered Inter to play two games at the San Siro behind closed doors and a third with a partial closure. (@kkoulibaly26)
