Generation Adidas: UCLA's Frankie Amaya highlights MLS's 2019 class

Major League Soccer announced the signing of seven players to its 2019 Generation adidas class.

The class features Frankie Amaya, a freshman at UCLA who started when the USA beat Mexico, 2-0, to win the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship. Also signed was another U-20, Indiana sophomore Griffin Dorsey.

The class consists of five Americans and two Canadians, forming the first all-North American class since 2005.

2019 MLS Generation adidas Class:
MF Frankie Amaya, UCLA (freshman)
MF Tajon Buchanan, Syracuse (sophomore)
MF Griffin Dorsey, Indiana (sophomore)
MF Siad Haji, VCU (junior)
DF John Nelson, North Carolina (sophomore)
GK Dayne St. Clair, Maryland (junior)
FW JJ Williams, Kentucky (junior)

They will also be eligible for selection in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, which takes Friday in Chicago. First up, though, is the adidas MLS Player Combine, which begins Saturday with two games in Orlando:
