-- Nantes president Waldemar Kita on Argentine Emiliano Sala, who was transferred from the Canaris to Cardiff City on Friday and was feared to have been killed in a plane crash over the English Channel on Monday night. Sala, who was tied for fifth in Ligue 1 in goals, had flown from Wales to Nantes on Monday to say good-bye to his teammates and was headed back to Wales when the charter plane disappeared from radar. On Tuesday night, plane wreckage parts were discovered by rescuers. (Daily Telegraph)
