The Chicago Fire reached a three-year agreement with
Motorola for the Chicago-based mobile communications company to become its jersey partner.
The jerseys were unveiled by Fire stars Bastian Schweinsteiger, Dax McCarty and Nemanja Nikolic at an event on Tuesday night in Chicago.
"Motorola is a globally recognized brand that, similar to our club, is proud of its Chicago roots," Fire chief operating officer John Urban said in a statement. "We look forward to introducing the Motorola brand to the diverse audience that exists within MLS and the sport of soccer."
The Fire's agreement with Paint company Valspar expired after the 2018 season. Previous jersey sponsors were Quaker Oats and Best Buy.
