A fire that broke out at the Ninho do Urubu, Brazilian club Flamengo's new training center, killed 10 people on Friday morning.
A fire fighter told Globo News that the training center housed teenage players and they were sleeping there at the time of the fire.
Flamengo reportedly spent more than $6 million to expand the facilities, which include an aquatic park, gym and medical center, besides fields.
Flamengo is one of the most famous teams in
Brazil, producing such players as Zico, Junior and Leonardo. It had recently returned from winning the Florida Cup in Orlando.
