Verizon secures English-language rights to the Concacaf Champions League for Yahoo Sports

The 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League will be streamed live in English on the Yahoo Sports app, as well as at YahooSports.com. It follows up on the agreement reached with Verizon in 2018 to give the telecommunications and media company multi-platform media rights to distribute Concacaf tournaments across Verizon’s digital media platforms, which include Yahoo Sports.

Those rights extend to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean for digital and mobile devices. The first leg of the Concacaf Champions League's round of 16  begins on Tuesday.

Concacaf's other CCL carriers include Univision Deportes (Spanish-language in the United States), Fox Sports Latin America (Mexico and Central America) and Flow Sports (Caribbean).
