Youth Movement: In the news ...

1. Danny Leyva, 15, made his CenturyLink Field debut for the Seattle Sounders in their 2-0 loss to Uruguayan club Nacional. Leyva, signed to a pro contract with Tacoma Defiance of the USL Championship, came on in the 67th minute for captain Nicolas Lodeiro. Seattle coach Brian Schmetzer praised Levya, a central midfielder, for his composure, saying, "He’s actually organizing people around him."

2. Six players from Orlando City's academy signed with Orlando City B, which OCSC has relaunched and will play in the new USL League One. The six include 15-year-old Luc Granitur. The others are Austin Amer, Jordan Bender, Ates Diouf, Jahlene Forbes and Moises Tablante. OCB also signed Ignacio Cubeddu, 18, and Luca Mancuso, 17, from partner Soccer Institute of Montverde.

3. U.S. under-17 defender Mason Judge scored the first two goals for Eintracht Frankfurt's U-17s in a 3-0 win over Unterhaching in the B-Junioren Bundesliga. Judge, who played for Chargers Soccer Club in Florida, has a British passport that allows him to move to Europe before he turns 18. He has played 11 games for Frankfurt since arriving last summer.
