I appreciate the opportunity to step into a locker room and hear the thoughts of a professional coach. And yet, I'm disappointed in what Bob Bradley offers up here in both clips. It's not particularly insightful, analytical, motivating content. No wonder when you look at the players reactions, which the camera pans to, it's so half-hearted/committed. My heart sinks for US soccer a bit. He keeps saying "OK." It's tired speech. It's weak rhetorically. It's unconvincing. If I'm Bob Bradley's coach. That's a little thing. But it's got to go.

"Alright" is the other phase repeated. It's the same as OK. He's not checking in with it for THEM, it's like he's trying to get them to buy in. He is strong when he calls them out and is concrete about pressing, and yet he doesn't really take the time to really listen!

This reflects a coach who thinks he has all the answers; he asks questions, but doesn't really listen to the players for the answers. They're all hurrying in their responses. That's not dialogue. That's not going to move a team/organization forward.
