Evening Edition: What's in the news ...

1. Christine Nairn, a veteran of all six NWSL seasons, has been traded from Orlando to Houston in exchange for a 2019 international roster spot and the Dash’s natural third- and fourth-round picks in the 2020 College Draft. Nairn, 28, played one season for the Pride after stints in Seattle and Washington. In the offseason, she helped the Melbourne Victory win Australia's W-League regular-season title. She has made more than 180 appearances in the NWSL and W-League since 2013.

2. Houston's BBVA Compass Stadium will be MLS's first soccer-specific stadium to install a permanent mother’s room and sensory room. The private mother's room will include private nursing areas, a changing table and a television to stay connected to the game. The sensory room is being constructed in collaboration with KultureCity, which focuses on helping organizations become sensory inclusive through programming, training and dedicated spaces.

3. NBCSN will start simulcasting Sky Sports News weekdays at 11 a.m.-noon ET, beginning Friday. Sky Sports News highlights many of the sports properties U.S. viewers enjoy on NBCUniversal networks, including the Premier League.
