Evening Edition: What's in the news ...

1. LAFC has signed 24-year-old midfielder Alejandro Guido, who moved to Mexican club Tijuana out of Mater Dei High School across the border in Chula Vista, California. Of his 33 Liga MX appearances for Xolos, 21 came in 2017-18. He played two games in the 2018 Torneo Apertura but was not registered by Xolos for the 2019 Clausura.

2. Orlando City will be the first MLS team to have its own airport pub. City Pub, a full-service restaurant and bar adorned in the club’s signature purple colors, will feature game day-inspired cuisine and promote Orlando City and its NWSL team, the Orlando Pride.

3. Sporting Kansas City has signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Hallmark, which is headquartered in Kansas City. The companies will work on initiatives to reach out to fans, players and families across the soccer community and support the Victory Project to help children battling cancer and Sporting Salutes to honor military members and their families.
