Watch: Lionel Messi goal voted greatest Barcelona goal of all time

Lionel Messi's goal against Getafe in the 2006-07 Copa del Rey semifinals, when he picked up the ball inside Barcelona's half and scored after faking out four defenders and the goalkeeper, was voted the greatest Barcelona goal ever with a whopping 45 percent of the more than 500,000 votes cast.

The second and third greatest Barca goals? You guessed it -- Messi goals, against Athletic Bilbao in the 2014-15 Copa del Rey final and against Real Madrid at Estadio Bernabeu during the 2010-11 season.

    Messi was 19 years old at the time. This clip should be reason to question any hope that special players will suddenly appear later in life. Promising young players may disappoint later and promising players may not be seen by scouts. Talent like Messi's, however, stands out like a neon sign in a teen.

    I also watched the third goal just now. He is so amazing that his team mates stopped playing to watch Messi dribble through 2 lines and finish.

    Bob, it is not the goals that impress me but his dribbiling, the ability that he can dribbel and touch the many more times that what the average can do in the employing the same distance. In other words his ability touch the ball on the dribble other players can't do and therefore he is able to accelerate and change directions at will
