Watch: Failed Panenka that left St. Mirren in Scottish basement

Canadian Simeon Jackson tried and missed badly on a Panenka penalty that his manager, Oran Kearney, described as "crazy" in St. Mirren's 1-0 defeat at St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership. The loss left St. Mirren in the basement, one point behind Dundee.

After Jackson rolled his penalty kick straight at keeper Zander Clark, Kearney said, "If we're 3-0 up in the first game of the season with 10 minutes to go and he tries something like that, you can accept it. But where we are and how the goal would have been for us, it's crazy."
