1. Wednesday's MLS match between Colorado and Seattle was postponed due to the extreme weather forecast in the Denver area.  Blizzard conditions descended on the Rockies on Wednesday. The match will now be held on Sept. 7 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

First-round schedule

The NWSL's Washington Spirit will play two games at D.C. United’s Audi Field
during the 2019 NWSL season. The dates: Aug. 24 against Orlando Pride and Sept. 14 against Reign FC. It drew a club-record 7,976 spectators for its first appearance at Audi Field last season against Portland. The Spirit will play all other 10 home matches at its regular home, Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, Md.
3. USL expansion team Austin Bold will hold "Farmer in the Del Valle Night" for its game against Phoenix next Wednesday, providing free admission to those fans who bring live farm animals to the game. Farm animals permitted include chicks, ducks, geese, goats, cows, pigs, turkeys, sheep, horses, llamas and donkeys. Local 4H students will be onsite to care for the animals during the game.
