Saturday morning: What's in the news ...

1. Tiffeny Milbrett has been named the director of coach and player development at Tampa Bay United Rowdies, the youth affiliate program for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. The two-time world champion and two-time Olympic gold-medalist spent the last four years in Colorado working for the Colorado Storm and Colorado Rapids.

2. The USL's Charlotte Independence signed 18-year-old forward Zyen Jones, who spent the 2018-19 season with Schalke 04's U-19s after leaving the Atlanta United academy with which he won the 2017 Development Academy U-15/16 national title. Jones played for the USA in the  2017 Concacaf U-17 Championship.

3. The Philadelphia Union signed its first-ever Spanish-language broadcast deal, partnering with UniMas affiliate WFPA to air four matches, beginning with Saturday's game against Montreal. The broadcasts will be anchored by Andres Quinones and Marvin Rivera.
