-- Carl Gerlach, mayor of Overland Park, Kan.,  referring to his own one-yard line and using a football analogy after the Overland Park city council met last night to discuss having a public hearing on using sales tax and revenue bonds to help finance the construction of a soccer complex that would be the home of MLS's Kansas City Wizards. Overland Park has jumped ahead of other Kansas cities Olathe, De Soto and Gardner in the bid to land the Wizards, who have no long-term future in Arrowhead Stadium. (Olathe News)
