USL Championship: What's in the news ...

1. Matthew Real played for Bethlehem Steel in its 1-1 tie with Atlanta United 2, his last game before joining the U.S. U-20 World Cup team. Philadelphia Union teammate Mark McKenzie (Bethlehem Steel) and Real Salt Lake goalkeeper David Ochoa (Real Monarchs) are also headed to Poland after playing this season in the USL Championship. Also on the U-20 roster are a pair of current USL League One players: Aboubacar Keita, on loan from the Columbus Crew to the Richmond Kickers, and FC Dallas midfielder Brandon Servania, who has played every minute for North Texas SC's inaugural season.

2. The Tampa Bay Rowdies remained the only unbeaten team when they won, 1-0, at Nashville SC. The lone goal was scored by 22-year-old forward Juan Tejada, a product of nearby Division II Eckerd College.

3. Chris Odoi-Atsem played his first game since last year's diagnosis of Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He came on the 68th minute of the 3-1 win by Loudoun United, D.C. United's second team, at Charlotte.
