The USA fell to host Mexico, 6-2 in Sunday's final at the 2019 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship in Puerto Vallarta, but qualified for the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay.

scored twice for the USA to finish with 13 goals and capture the tournament's Golden Boot as top scorer. He also set a new U.S. record for most goals in a Beach Soccer
World Cup qualifying tournament, surpassing his own record of 11 set in 2013.
The USA took a 1-0 lead into the third and final period when Mexico scored final unanswered goals to pull away.
The USA has now qualified for five of 10 World Cups: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013 and 2019.
