Atlanta United’s U-14s and LAFC U-12s won their respective age groups at the 2019 Nexen Manchester City Cup in San Diego.
Atlanta United won the U-14 Super Group, beating Mexico's
Monterrey, 3-2, in the final. The 24-team competition featured teams from England (Man City) and Australia (Man City sister club Melbourne City) and Mexico (Monterrey, Tijuana, UNAM, Club America and
Guadalajara).
LAFC won its six games by a margin of 30-1, taking the title with a 3-0 win over Total Futbol Academy in an all-Los Angeles final.
The failure to mention the non MLS Clubs that won has me asking questions. I’m not sure why however, because I already know the answer.
Which non-MLS team won, and which age group was it?
TFA won the u13/06 age group by an aggregated 20-4 margin. The MLS clubs that competed in but did not win this age group included Real Salt Lake, New York City FC, Seattle Sounders, Sporting KC, and LA Galaxy
and LAFc as well.
Crossfire Premier won U16 boys, Total Futbol Academy won the other Division. The point is it makes you wonder if there is an agenda behind this spotty reporting.
Is there any disclosures being made or should there be ? Good catch for the poster who called out the legend in Paul Kennedy Lol:-)
Total Football Academy results:
FINAL STANDINGS: (5) CHAMPIONS & (1) FINALIST:
2011 PRE I - CHAMPION
2010 PRE II - CHAMPION
2009 PRE II - CHAMPION

Smells like a story there to me. At least an interview.
