1. The top three markets for Fox Sports' broadcast of the Women's World Cup through the first 13 days are Kansas City (1.43), San Diego (1.28) and Austin (1.19). The overall metered market ratings were up 10 percent compared to the average for the 2015 group stage on Fox Sports and 62 percent compared to 2011, the last time the tournament was broadcast by ESPN and played in Europe and had morning and afternoon kickoffs for U.S. television.

2. Brazil's TV Globo is closing in the Fox record for the highest viewing audience for a Women's World Cup game, set in 2015 when the USA beat Japan in the final. Brazil-Italy, which kicked off in the early afternoon in Brazil, attracted 21.510 million on TV Globo. The 921,101 who tuned in on SporTV pushed the combined audience to 22.431 million viewers, the highest Brazilian audience of the Women’s World Cup so far.

3. French television's combined audience of 9.599 million viewers (8.81 million viewers for TF1 and 789,000 for Canal+) for France-Nigeria at the Women’s World Cup made the average combined audience for the hosts’ group matches 10.106 million viewers. In 2015, France’s group stage average was 1.751 million viewers (prime time on W9) while the 2011 edition averaged 202,455 viewers (on Eurosport).
