Sam Kerr scores hat trick in first NWSL game back with Chicago

It took less than seven minutes for Sam Kerr to score her first NWSL goal since returning from the Women's World Cup, and she finished with a hat trick for the Chicago Red Stars in a 3-2 win over Orlando on Sunday.



Kerr, who became the first Australian to score a World Cup hat trick when she scored four goals in the 4-1 in over Jamaica, leads the NWSL with nine goals.

Brazilians Marta and Camila returned to action for Orlando. Marta scored on a penalty kick in the 79th minute.
