It took less than seven minutes for Sam Kerr to score her first NWSL goal since returning from the Women's World Cup, and she finished with a hat trick for the Chicago Red Stars in a 3-2 win
over Orlando on Sunday.
Kerr, who became the first Australian to
score a World Cup hat trick when she scored four goals in the 4-1 in over Jamaica, leads the NWSL with nine goals.
Brazilians Marta and Camila returned to action for
Orlando. Marta scored on a penalty kick in the 79th minute.
