Zlatan says ...

"MLS is not the level of Europe, to be honest. Before, I played with players either on my level or close to it. Which makes the game connect easier. Here, I am like a Ferrari among Fiats. And it can happen that the Ferrari can become the Fiat, or the Fiat can become the Ferrari. I had the same issue with the national [Swedish] team, though not as much. I said, 'I don't accept it. I don't accept when the ball doesn't arrive, or arrives too late. I want them to come up to my level.' All of this makes me slow down a bit. The game here [in America] could be so much faster, so much more tactical, so much more rhythmic."

Some of what he says may be valid, but once again, Zlatan shows what an egotistical twit he really is. His gloating pomposity befits a ballet primadona, but only strengthens his image as a pompous ass.

MLS does not need washed up aging profit seekers from Europe to "strengthen" the league.

Zlatan is a world class player and he is bringing up the level from Fiat to at least Lexus for the majority....and there will be more Ferrari level players as the league continues to grow revenue streams with terrific attendance and excellent stadium facility experiences for fans.

I LOVE his bravado....and his teammates and coaches love him too....   He is really just a very confident player that backs up his words on the field.    He likes to say provacative things for effect and to make bold points to affect positive change.

Three great goals in the LA Derby one with right foot, one with the left, and one header.   He is worth every penny for the league and younger americans can learn a ton from watching his clinical efficiency in the box, movement off the ball, timing of runs, and accuracy in shooting.
