In a rematch of the 2018 Women's Premier Soccer League championship game, Pensacola FC beat the defending champion Seattle Sounders Women, 3-2, and moved into the 2019 final against the Utah Royals FC

Pensacola jumped out to 2-0 lead at the break on goals by Brian Morris
and Uchenna Kanu
added the third Pensacola in the 65th minute, a minute after Summer Yates
pulled Seattle to within one goal in the 64th minute. Alex Hobbs
' goal in the 81st minute cut the
deficit to one, but goalkeeper Kathryn Scheele
made a key save late in the game to preserve the win for Pensacola.
Utah won on penalty kicks (4-2) after its match with Motor City
FC ended in a 1-1 tie. Amber Marshall
put the expansion Royals ahead in the fourth minute, but an own goal in the 27th minute evened the score.
