USA opens Concacaf Under-15 Boys Championship with 2-0 win

The USA opened play at the Concacaf Under-15 Boys Championship with a 2-0 win over Haiti on Sunday.

Rafael Jauregui (Sacramento Republic FC) and Federico Oliva (Atletico Madrid) scored for the USA.

The USA will complete group play with matches against Guatemala on Monday and Suriname on Wednesday. All matches are 70 minutes.

The top 14 Concacaf teams plus guests Slovenia and Portugal compete in Division One. The four group winners and four runners-up advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday. Two other divisions consist of 15 and 10 teams.

The event is the third of the year for the U-15s. They had a camp in January and trip to Italy and Slovenia for the Torneo delle Nazioni  in May.
