new La Liga season, which kicks off on Friday. Solo had served as an analyst for the BBC during the Women's World Cup.

Orange County SC signed 14-year-old Francis Jacobs, making him the youngest male player to sign a pro contract in U.S. soccer history. Jacobs spent last season playing for the
Irvine Strikers' U-15 team in the Development Academy. OCSC's previous youngest signing was goalkeeper Aaron Cervantes, who signed two years ago at the age of 15. He has become a regular in goal for
OCSC this season, making eight appearances in the USL Championship.
