U.S. under-23 women’s national team's trip to England for the Nordic Tournament Aug. 28-Sept. 2.
U.S. head coach B.J. Snow named 21 pros to the roster – 16 from the NWSL and five in Europe.
Four other players on this roster have been called up to the senior national team: goalkeeper Casey Murphy, who plays for Reign FC after starting her pro career in France with Montpellier, Houston Dash midfielder Haley Hanson, Chicago Red Stars midfielder Savannah McCaskill and forward Hallie Mace, who is currently playing in Sweden with Rosengard. All but Murphy have been capped.
Snow named two overage players: North Carolina Courage forward Kristen Hamilton, who is currently tied for second in the NWSL in goals with eight, and defender Erin Simon, who plays for West Ham United.
Schedule: The USA will face Norway on Aug. 28, England on Aug. 30 and Sweden on Sept. 2 in matches played at Loughborough University.
