Soccer America Men's College Preseason Top 25

North Carolina, one of seven ranked teams from the ACC, is No. 1 in the Soccer America Men's College Preseason Top 25 rankings.

The Tar Heels, the overwhelming favorite of ACC coaches to win the conference title, are followed by 2018 Men's College Cup runner-up Maryland, St. Mary's, which finished the 2018 season without a loss, Stanford, the national champion in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and Wake Forest, the 2018 ACC regular-season champion.

Four Big Ten teams, including defending champion Maryland, and three Pac-12 teams are ranked.

The 2019 men's college season kicks off on Thursday. Most teams begin play on Friday.

    What, no Big XII or SEC teams crack the Top 25? Kidding, those two probably couldn’t afford anything more than club soccer. How knuckle dragging is it that two dominant eggball conferences still, STILL, don’t have full fledge men’s programs?

    Unbelievable... univ. of Tenn. has so much money. They had  club soccer for men since the 60’s but they do have a women’s program
