Soccer America Men's College Top 25

Stanford moved up to No. 1 in the Soccer America Men's College Top 25 rankings after beating Penn State and Akron on the road.

Bay Area rival St. Mary's moved up one spot to No. 2 and is followed in the top five by Wake Forest, Kentucky and Virginia, which beat last year's national champion Maryland.

Wake and Virginia are among seven ACC teams in the Top 25.

Seven teams  moved into the Top 25. They include Xavier, which beat last year's runner-up, Akron, and Coastal Carolina, which won at Oregon State and Portland, which were both ranked in the preseason rankings.
