Evening Edition: What's in the news ...

1. Friday's USA-Mexico men's game averaged 2.7 million viewers on Univision (simulcast on TUDN) and 386,000 on FS1. The USA-Mexico friendly played a year ago averaged 2.3 million on Univision and 827,000 on ESPN. The broadcast made Univision the No. 1 ranked broadcast network among the key adult 18-49 and 18-34 demos in primetime, defeating ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

2. FuboTV is launching Fubo Sports Network with lots of soccer programming. The free Fubo Sports Network will include “The Players Lounge with Cobi Jones and PJ Harrison”  (on Wednesday evening), “The Cooligans” (twice a week with New York comedians Alexis Guerreros and Christian Polanco) and “Football Report” (also twice a week with soccer news). It will also carry one weekly English-language broadcast of Liga MX on Sunday afternoon available only to FuboTV subscribers.

3. FC Cincinnati forward Kekuta Manneh had an additional game added to his suspension for the red card he received for pushing Bryan Acosta in the face in the 72nd minute of the MLS match against FC Dallas on Aug. 31. Manneh served his first-game suspension on Saturday against Toronto FC.
