-- Chencho Alvarez, father of 17-year-old LA Galaxy forward Efrain Alvarez, on whether his son will commit to playing for Mexico or the USA at the senior international level. Efrain Alvarez switched from playing for the USA to Mexico at the youth level and should represent Mexico at the 2019 U-17 World Cup. But he could still file a change of association to later play for the USA. Along with his father, Alvarez has met with Gregg Berhalter to discuss the USA's youth movement and noted, "It's a good thing that they have going." (ESPN FC)
