Watch: Tigres score two goals while Veracruz players protest unpaid salaries

Players on troubled Mexican club Veracruz called off a strike after the Mexican federation stepped in and promised to create an emergency fund of around $1 million to pay them unpaid wages for upwards of the last six months, but plans for an in-game protest went array when Tigres scored twice two minutes into the protest while the Veracruz players stood motionless. After the game won by Tigres, 3-1, Veracruz players were furious at their opponents for not honoring the full three minutes of the protest.
