Brazil deserved the championship. They were the best team, without a doubt. Mexico was not impressive at all. The way played against Holland and winning on penalties is about the only thing they were capable of...The Mexican team  could barely string two passes together....I expect a lot better from Mexico.

Mexicans play in Holland like on PSV and Ajax and they have played on high level European teams than any of our Americans have ever played on. I'm still amazed considering the Mexican game is on a higher level than the US game and Mexico has a soccer culture unlike in the US, Mexico does not produce great players. The only player that was a genuine  star player was Hugo Sanchez who played for Real Madrid, back in the early 90's. Considering what a soccer country Mexico is, it amazes me the lack of great stars or just great players, in the sense that when the MLS buys a Mexican player, you can see difference of quality out there on the field....Well ,to me it is not noticeable. It is only noticeable in the difference in quality of play when Mexico plays US...

HuGOL.... The epitome of a Graceful Poacher Finisher.!!! Such a Crafty Player... got to see him play many times... His Movement OFF the Ball and his ability to Burst LATE into the Box, to Knick Balls into the Goal are something that; as much as you Teach It... It is UN-Repeatable.... Some Players Have IT, and 99.9% Don't.!!!
