NCAA Division III Women: Messiah wins sixth national title

Messiah defeated William Smith, 1-0, to win the NCAA Division III women's championship. It's the Falcons' sixth women's national title but first since 2012.

Maddie Kohl scored the only goal in the 55th minute on an assist from Ellie Lengacher 10 minutes into the second half.

-- With six titles, Messiah has now the most in Division III women's history. UC San Diego, which now plays at the Division II level, has five Division III titles.
