Injuries force three players to withdraw from U.S. women's ID camp

Hours after winning the NCAA Division I women's title on Sunday, Stanford's Madison Haley and Naomi Girma had to withdraw from the U.S. women's national team ID camp due to injuries suffered at the College Cup.

In addition, Chicago Red Stars midfielder Danielle Colaprico was also ruled out due to an injury.

But new U.S. women's coach Vlatko Andovoski, who attended the College Cup, added forward Morgan Weaver and midfielder Makamae Gomera-Stevens from Washington State, which made the final four for the first before falling in the semifinals to North Carolina.

Weaver, who has spent time with the U-23 program, led the Cougars in scoring all four years of her career. Gomera-Stevens is just the second player from Hawaii to earn a senior call-up after 2008 Olympic gold-medalist Natasha Kai.
