Watch: Christian Pulisic help Chelsea to UCL knockout stage

The 21-year-old American Christian Pulisic  contributed to the buildup of Tammy Abraham's back-heel goal in a 2-1 Chelsea win over Lille that clinched passage to the UEFA Champions League knockout stage. Pulisic started and played 62 minutes before being replaced by Callum Hudson-Odoi. The Daily Star rated Pulisic, who connected 82 percent of passes, the highest among Chelsea players with a 9: "Inventive runs caused Lille constant problems. Growing into his role in the team and ensuring Chelsea are not missing Eden Hazard  at all."

It is amazing how Pulisic is winning over Chelsea fans by simply being himself in his low-key manner. Wonderful example for others.

Not to be pedantic, but Abraham's goal was not a back-heel (though it kind of looked like one).  Nice set-up and nice story, though.  Good to see Pulisic succeeding at the highest level.
