NWSL will hold 2020 College Draft at United Soccer Coaches Convention in Baltimore

The NWSL will hold the 2020 College Draft on Jan. 16 at the United Soccer Coaches Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The Orlando Pride holds the first pick in 2020 College Draft. Sky Blue FC has the No. 2 and No. 3 picks while the Chicago Stars have four of the final six picks in the first round.

The release of the College Draft details suggests that any expansion plans for 2020 are off. It had been rumored that Sacramento would join the league next season.  Proof Louisville FC has been announced as a 2021 expansion team.

    At the very least NWSL could take a few pages out of the Garber NFL playbook. sign up more teams to secure a TV deal, no matter how minimal, and work up from there.
    There are only 7 teams--they'll need a dozen before anyone is interested.
