2. RP Sports Investments, headed by Jacksonville Armada owner Robert Palmer, received unanimous City Council approval on a land option agreement enabling it to pursue the construction of a downtown soccer-specific stadium. The Armada joined the NPSL after the NASL folded in 2017. Club president Nathan Walter told The Florida Times-Union that the approval clears a hurdle toward bringing pro soccer back to Jacksonville.
3. Cony Konstin, Director of Coaching of Oregon youth club Westside Timbers, has been named head coach of Trinidad & Tobago men's futsal national team. Also a FIFA and Concacaf Futsal coaching instructor, Konstin previously served as head coach of the T&T U-18 women's futsal team.
