Updates: Coronavirus closures

1. Concacaf suspended all of its regional competitions for the next 30 days, including the Concacaf Olympic Men's Qualifying Tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico, where the U.S. under-23 was already training. Other competitions suspended: Concacaf Champions League, which played three of four quarterfinal first legs this week, Gold Cup 2021 qualifying and Caribbean Club Shield.

2. MLS put a moratorium on training at all clubs through Sunday as it reviews protocols to ensure a safe environment for players and staff in the wake of the coronavirus. Players are required to remain where they live but can train on their own. The moratorium applies to first-team trainings, reserve teams and academies.

3. The NWSL also suspended all training through Sunday. On Thursday, it announced that it was canceling preseason matches. Preseason training started on Monday. The regular season was scheduled to kick off on April 18.
