Concacaf suspends the first Nations League finals

Concacaf has suspended the first Nations League finals, which were scheduled to be played June 4-7 in Texas.

The move follows the decision by FIFA to shut down all men's and women's international matches during their respective windows in June.

The two semifinals are USA-Honduras and Mexico-Costa Rica, both scheduled to be played in Houston on June 4 but at different stadiums. The final and third-place game was scheduled to be played June 7 at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Arlington, Texas.
Concacaf's announcement also covers 2021 Gold Cup qualifiers in June and the Flow Caribbean Club Championship scheduled for May.

FIFA's suspension of international play in June affects 2022 World Cup qualifiers, which have been shelved in Asia.
