MLS opening game: Where are they now?

Three players and one coach from the 1996 San Jose-D.C. United game are in the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

San Jose Clash:
Laurie Calloway (Head coach): Retired and living in central California.
Tom Liner (GK): Foothill College women's badminton team.
Troy Dayak (DF): West Coast Soccer Club founder and director of coaching.
John Doyle (DF): Mustang Soccer League director of coaching in Danville, California.
Michael Emenalo (DF): Most recently Monaco (France) technical director and before that Chelsea (England) technical director.
Tim Martin (DF): Breakers Academy U-14 boys head coach in Santa Cruz, California.
Paul Bravo (FW): De Anza Force and California Thorns academy director.
Ben Iroha (MF): Recently returned from Nigeria to the USA, where he is a youth coach.
Victor Mella (MF): Lives in Veracruz, Mexico, where he is a youth coach and runs a 7-a-side soccer organization.
Jorge Rodas (MF): Most recently Guatemala national team assistant coach.
Jeff Baicher (MF): DeAnza Force boys coaching director and coach.
*Eric Wynalda (FW): Las Vegas Lights head coach and technical director.
Paul Holocher (MF): Houston Dynamo academy director.
Eddie Lewis (MF): Founder of soccer training technology company TOCA Football, based in Torrance, California.

D.C. United:
*Bruce Arena (Head coach). New England Revolution head coach.
Jeff Causey (GK): Certified financial planner with TIAA-CREF in Providence, Rhode Island.
*Jeff Agoos (DF): Major League Soccer senior vice president, competition.
Said Fazlagic (DF): Bosnia & Herzegovina Olympic Committee secretary general.
Mario Gori (DF): Last known whereabouts were in Pittsburgh, where he was reportedly a taxicab operator.
Thor Lee (DF): Vice president with Avison Young Commercial Real Estate in Los Angeles.
Marco Etcheverry (MF): Lives in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where he has been involved in coaching at the professional and youth levels.
*John Harkes (MF): Greenville Triumph (USL League One) head coach and sporting director.
Shawn Medved (MF): Partner with Westside Mortgage Group in Los Gatos, California.
Richie Williams (MF): New England Revolution assistant coach.
Raul Diaz Arce (FW): United Futbol Academy youth coach in Forsyth, Georgia.
Juan Berthy Suarez (FW): Lives in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where he has a real estate business and is a partner in various smaller enterprises.
Mike Huwiler (MF): Manager corporate services with BMO Harris in Milwaukee and North Shore United youth coach.

    Fascinating how many more of the players on "Los Clash" are still involved in soccer than players then on the DC roster.
