NWSL will allow teams to begin full training as of Friday

The National Women’s Soccer League has given its nine teams permission to advance to the next two phases of training.

Teams were allowed to move to Phase 2 -- training in small groups -- as of Monday and they can begin full training on Friday, assuming they meet state and local governmental requirements.

Some of the protocols:

Phase 2. All players and staff members are required to be tested for current and past infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. Prior to entering a facility, all players must be assessed for symptoms and undergo temperature screening. Groups can't exceed eight players.

Phase 3. Full team training can begin if five days of small group training have been completed.

Phase 4 will be the return to play. According to various media reports, the NWSL is developing a plan to hold a 30-day tournament, beginning in late June, at Rio Tinto Stadium, Zions Bank Stadium, the  Zions Bank Real Academy and America First Field in Utah.
