The USL League One has set a provisional start date of July 18 after its Board of Governors voted on Friday in favor of returning to play for the 2020 season.
The third division league is
in its second season. It operated 10 teams in 2019 and expanded to 12 teams for 2020. It added the Union Omaha and two MLS second teams, Fort Lauderdale CF (Inter Miami) and Revolution II (New

Six teams are MLS second teams and a seventh, Forward
Madison FC, is affiliated with the Chicago Fire.
