Mix Diskerud joins Sweden's Helsingborg on loan for the 2020 Allsvenskan season

Mix Diskerud is on the move again.

Since leaving MLS's New York City FC in 2016 and being signed by Manchester City, he spent the last three seasons at Swedish club IFK Goteborg and South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai.

Now the Norwegian-American midfielder is joining Sweden's Helsingborg on loan for the 2020 Allsvenskan season that opens Sunday. Helsingborg, which finished 10th in 2019, begins Monday at home against Varberg

Diskerud, 29, also played at Stabaek and Rosenborg in his native Norway and Gent in Belgium.

The last of his 36 caps for the USA came in 2016 in a World Cup qualifier, a 2-0 loss to Guatemala.
